Panasonic has launched a mid range phone called Eluga L 4G in India. The phone is priced Rs. 12,990 and will be available at retail outlets as well as online. As the name denotes, it is a 4G phone that supports TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) bands in India. It is a dual SIM phone that runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
Panasonic Eluga L 4G features a 5 inch HD IPS One Glass solution display. The phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added strength. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core CPU paired with 1 GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 is the chipset used in this device. There is 8 GB of internal storage. MicroSD card slots lets for further memory expansion up to 32 GB.
Eluga L 3G features an 8 MP auto focus rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. It is an extremely thin phone measuring just 6.1 mm in thickness. Overall dimensions ranges between 142 x 71 x 6.1 mm. Besides 4G the phone offers connectivity options like 3G, 2G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS and microUSB v2.0.
The phone comes with protective case and screen guard. It will be available in Radiant blue color. The rear of the phone is also of Corning Gorilla glass. The battery capacity and weight of the phone is not known. Eluga L 4G will be competing with Motorola Moto G 2nd generation in India.
