Micromax is introducing the Unite 3 Q372 entry level handset to their loyal customers in India. The previous Unite devices were great successes. The Unite 2 still sells in good numbers on online stores like Snapdeal. The prime feature of Micromax unite series phones is the multi linguistic support covering most of the popular Indian languages. The Unite 3 handset supports 10 Indian languages.

Unite 3 comes with an improved 4.7 inch FWVGA IPS display against the WVGA display on Unite 2. The display offfers 16M colors and ~208 ppi pixel density. It comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Another improvement over the previous version is found in the camera department. The Unite 3 comes with an 8 MP auto focus rear camera with flash against the 5 MP camera in Unite 2. The front camera resolution is the same 2 MP in both the devices.

The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core CPU paired with 1GB of RAM and Mali graphics. MediaTek MT6582M is the chipset used in Unite 3. There is 8GB of internal storage memory out of which 4.90GB is available for the users.

Unite 3 Q372 is a dual SIM phone that supports 3G network connectivity. Other connectivity options includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB v2.0. The 2000 mAh battery offers up to 220 hours standby and up to 8 hours talk time. Proximity sensor, light sensor and a gravity sensor are also present in this phone.

Micromax recently launched Canvas spark in India which is being sold exclusively through flash sales on Snapdeal. Unit 3 however will be available through all the sale channels online and offline. The price of the phone is expected to be around Rs. 6000 in India. Micromax is also launching the Canvas knight 2 E471 in India. This device comes with 2GB of RAM and supports 4G connectivity.
