Panasonic has launched its latest of its budget Android phone in India. This new phone is named Eluga S Mini and is priced Rs. 8,990 at launch. It will be available within a week across all retail outlets in the county and online stores.
While the phone belong to the budget segment, the does have some good internals to boast off. It features a 4.7 inch HD display that offers ~312 ppi pixel density. Eluga S Mini is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa core chipset presumably made by MediaTek (not yet confirmed). There is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage memory expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card.
Eluga S Mini runs Android 4.4.2 OS out-of-the-box with Fit home UI on top. It is a 3G phone with Dual SIM card slots. The connectivity options in Eluga S Mini includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB port.
The 8 MP rear camera is capable of recording 1080p full HD videos @ 30fps. There is also a 5 MP front camera which features Blink Play technology. Light sensor, proximity sensor and accelerometer features in this phone. Eluga S Mini also supports 21 indian languages. The overall dimensions ranges between 137.5 x 68.4 x 9.45mm and it weighs 135 grams. A 1980mAh Li-Po battery offers power to this device. It will be available in Frost white and Shadow grey color options.
Though the internal specifications of this phone is no match for the flash sale phones, this phone does have some elegance that are typical of Panasonic phones. This is a sized down version of Eluga S that was launched few months back.
