HTC has launched its mid-range phone HTC One E9 Plus in India. The company has launched this phone in India with a price tag of Rs. 36,790. It will be available shortly across all retail outlets in the country along with the online stores.
Though the price of E9 plus is in the mid range band, the specifications are definitely not lesser than any premium high end phones. It features a 5.5 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440p)display that offers ~534 ppi pixel density. The screen to body ratio is ~69.7%. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 top.
HTC One E9 Plus is powered by a 2 GHz octa core processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. Mediatek MT6795M Helio X10 is the chipset used in this device. There is 16 GB of internal storage memory and microSD card slot that supports cards up to 2TB. This phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC sense UI on top.
The phone comes with Dual Nano SIM slots. One E9 Plus supports 3G and 4G network bands. Other connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, A2DP, apt-X, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB v2.0.
The overall dimensions of the phone ranges between 156.5 x 76.5 x 7.5 mm and it weighs 156 grams. The 20 MP rear camera of HTC One E9 plus features f/2.2, 2.78 cm lens and is capable of 4K video recording. It is an auto focus camera with BSI sensor. The Ultra pixel camera in the front comes with f/2.0, 2.47 cm lens and is capable of 1080p video recording.
The 2800 mAh battery offers talk time of up to 21 hours 30 minutes on 2G and up to 14 hours 20 minutes on 3G.
